January 2025. I’m currently working on a young adult novel I’m calling Feral: A Fairytale. The first draft is finished. Now it has to sit for a bit so I can edit with fresh eyes.
Meanwhile, I’m playing with black and white illustrations. I’ve self-published ebooks and print-on-demand paperbacks in the past. The process is pretty simple. But illustrations need to be small and simple.
I haven’t created visual art in a year or two, and prior to that, my efforts tended to lack focus. It’s been a pleasure to spend time on Pinterest pondering styles and techniques.
